Phil & Alicia are the founding pastors of New Hope Church. Prior to establishing New Hope, they served faithfully as Associate and Student Pastors in the Metro East of St Louis, the Central Valley of California, and on the Southside of Indianapolis. Phil is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a degree in church ministries.  Alicia received her undergrad degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters from Greenville University.

Pastor Phil is a passionate speaker with a huge desire to see people who have been far from God find the hope of Jesus Christ.  Alicia is a school teacher at Glen Carbon Elementary.  

Phil & Alicia have a small tribe of 4 children, Abby (19), Cole (18), Tanner (14) and Emery (8). They love to spend time together outside and at sporting events. The Sadakas are also huge St Louis Cardinal and Dallas Cowboy fans.

Josh discovered his calling to youth ministry in high school and has been passionate about reaching the next generation with the love of Jesus ever since. He met his wife, Jade, while studying Church Leadership at Evangel University, and together they share a heart for seeing people grow into who God has called them to be.

When he’s not leading students, you can usually find Josh in the middle of some friendly competition—if there’s a score to keep, he’s keeping it. He’s an avid sports fan (go Cubs!), a lover of all things superheroes, and a devoted fan of The Office. He’s also a bit of a sneaker-head.

Josh and Jade are proud parents to their son, Miles, who joined their family in April.

Sabrina has a heart for helping the next generation know Jesus in a real and personal way. She attended Called College, where she studied Pastoral Studies, and is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree from North Central University in Family Ministries. Her passion for kids ministry is deeply personal—Sabrina gave her life to Jesus as a child at kids camp, and years later, she met her fiancé, Grayson, at that very same camp. Because of the impact that  had on her own life, she has a deep desire to help create those same life-changing moments for kids today.

Outside of ministry, she loves shopping, spending time with friends, and almost always has a fun drink in her hand (usually an iced coffee). More than anything, she loves stewarding kids to become everything God has called them to be in those life-changing moments.

Matt and his wife Tiffany, along with their three daughters: Aubrey, Kaylea and Jordyn, started attending and serving at New Hope in April 2021.  Matt joined the New Hope leadership team in May 2025.  Matt is a big Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan.  He also enjoys a good game of chess and tries his best to play golf (quite unsuccessfully).

Shea is commonly described as the nicest and most bubbly person you'll ever meet. She has a deep passion for making sure people feel welcome when they walk into New Hope and know it's not just a church but a family! If you're planning on coming to a Sunday sometime soon she'd love to meet you or even connect with you before hand through an email to plan your visit.
If you've never been to New Hope, but live in the area there's a good chance you've seen her out and about doing marketing for Texas Roadhouse. She loves this role as well, as it allows her to connect and build ties with the community outside the four walls of the church!
